  We were walking around the food court to see what looked good and saw that maki cooked the good fresh. It intrigued us so we decided to give it a shot.
  
  The servings were generous for the price. We got the chicken teriyaki plate. The food was pretty average. Nothing that would stand out or make me want to come again. Its with a try for those wanting chicken teriyaki.

  Maki of Japan is one of those eateries you only find hidden within the food court of a mall. It's very obvious that their goal is to feed quantity and not so much quality, but if you chose to dine at a food court; chances are you won't find much better.
  
  All of us split up to eat at different places but one of my friends and I decided to share a vegetarian meal and we got the noodle plate with two vegetable sides. Oiiiiiiiiiilllllll geez, can I have some vegetables with my oil? Kinda bland, including drinks it came out to a little over $10. Overall can't complain pricewise and we were full. Was it tasty? Meh...

  So my girlfriend and I came here for a study break in order to get out of the Barnes and Noble for a little while. We came here and I got the chicken teriyaki. I uncharged to fried rice, vegetables, and I actually decided to get double meat. The vegetables are just thrown on there as an afterthought, which I know, is the same as all the other kinds of restaurants like this in mall food courts across the country, but these vegetables seems particularly afterthoughty. That's there this place lost points for me, because the meat was exactly as good as I expected it to be and the rice was rice.

  Lots of food for the price, and the chicken teriyaki itself is pretty good; the rest leaves a lot to be desired.
  
  Refills are 50 cents each, which I think is kinda lame. They also have TINY signs saying that fried rice, noodles, and/or veg are actually upcharges. They don't have napkins out for customers to take out easily.
  
  The worst part was that the "fried rice" I got just tasted and looked like parboiled or plain, white rice. The vegetables were also unevenly cooked and lacked any kind of seasoning. It just tastes so ... plain and bland. It really wasn't worth it. Should've eaten at Nature's Table or something instead. Won't be going back.

  Tried the other asian type places here so tried maki. To be honest i dont much like the food in this mall. I picked up the chicken and noodles which cost an extra .50 total was like $7.00. You get a decent amount of noodles and average amount of chicken. You leave feeling overstuffed and tired. Is it msg that does that? Really have to stop eating this stuff. Makes you feel crappy.
